Watertower garden - Uxbridge

A neighbour’s Watertower dominates the garden, which would be impossible to disguise, so instead, we embraced this and used it as the concept for the design; emulating it with 11 Hornbeam columns which echo it perfectly with their shape and Autumnal hues.

These columns then act as a gentle divide, to create different compartments: the main patio, traditional lawn, additional seating area with a Firepit and a ‘Utility’ area.

The Hornbeam shadows create drama and a water feature and lighting also give the garden a new dimension, especially in the evenings.
