Natural clay pavers weave an almost random path through the space, connecting the main patio built against the old stone wall to raised platforms of Siberian larch decking. These platforms seem to float amidst a sea of swaying ornamental grasses and wildflowers, creating a relaxed meadow-like effect, becoming a natural extension of the green pastures surrounding the plot. Sustainability is key here
The planting scheme is low-maintenance and water-wise, with hydrangeas adding pops of brightness throughout the season. And when the sun dips below the horizon, a subtle lighting scheme takes centre stage, casting soft shadows and highlighting the garden's natural features. A perfect example of how to create a beautiful and functional outdoor space that's both stylish and eco-friendly.
