We went to Essex Garden Design after being let down by our original contractor. Thank our lucky stars we did!!, Essex Garden Design not only took on our existing garden design, but came up with both improvements and money saving cost. We have ended up with a garden of our dreams . Alex helped us with planting, lighting and the ever important aftercare for looking after our new garden. She was always available whenever we needed her for advice. The build team, lead by Ben, excelled. Making improvements as they went. A top design team with the other ladies all helping out. A top building team always on site, punctual and ever helpful. You will not beat this quality company.

Alex and her team took on a project in our garden to create a new area for a hot tub and loungers. We were really keen to make sure the area looked good, blended in well to the existing garden and didn't take away too much of our existing beds. All of the team were really professional, they totally understood our concerns and took them seriously, made excellent suggestions to make what we wanted worked within the existing structure, enhanced the new area and make sure it blended in well with the whole garden, as well as finishing the new area beautifully, Alex had fantastic ideas to modernise the whole garden with just a few touches, and to make sure it all looked beautiful. The entire team were a delight to have around, extremely creative, turned up when they said they would and really cared about the quality and finish of their work. I would definitely recommend them!

Its a couple of months now since the team completed our garden project and I still look out the window and think is this really our garden. It is beautiful. Picking a partner to work on any project is never easy and a garden is no exception but from design through to execution the team were brilliant. They listened to what we wanted , came up with two very different designs, advised on different aspects as required and delivered a unique product through hard work and attention to detail. The project took just over 5 weeks to complete and Ben and the team were on site every day come rain or shine. Ours was a big project and I know it was not easy to bring all the aspects together seamlessly from planning through to sourcing materials and plants, coordinating all the various tradesmen including joinery and electrics and ultimately delivering the finished garden but they did it.. Everyone who worked on our project took pride in what they did no matter how small a part they played and that is rare. We are delighted with our new garden and would highly recommend Essex Garden Design if you are considering a garden project.. Thanks to everyone for all their hard work and for creating a garden that we can enjoy for years to come.

We worked with the team to overhaul parts of our garden that were very tired and worn, primarily a large expanse of decking and some patio areas. As well as replacing a large expanse of rotted decking with composite decking and some sections of basic patio slabs with Yorkstone to match the main patio, the team also installed lighting around the edge of the decking and in the borders to give a fabulous evening and night time ambience. The team was easy to work with and the results are great in terms of visual appeal and quality of workmanship. We would highly recommend Essex Garden Designs and we will be working with them again shortly to replace another patio at the front of the house.
