The bank was excavated to make space for the building, and at the time the lawn was enlarged to make the garden feel larger. Paving was updated completely, creating lovely spaces to step out from the house for dining and lounging, and more privacy added with hedging. A water feature near the seating area adds a relaxing soundscape. The front garden scheme is a bright and engaging planted space, with the rear garden in muted shades of white and green, with a built in hardwood bench and planter, as well as slatted cedar screening and a productive garden tucked into the side garden space.
