This is a wonderful country garden with stunning views to the wider landscape along its open boundary. I chose a cohesive grey sandstone hard landscaping palette, mixing slabs, setts and dry stone walling together. A stunning summer planting mix of purples, blues, pinks and silver work strongly against this.
The beautiful sandstone wall is bordered with a Lonicera nitida hedge, and a sunken seating area and sunken vegetable garden introduce level changes to a flat plot.
