The Treetop Garden
A challenging brief, as there was a 5m high escarpment which cut diagonally through the garden. The land on the face of the escarpment was unusable, so reducing the practical area of the garden by approx. 50%. The clients wanted to extend the usable area, so the design centred around a floating cantilevered deck which extended over the edge of the escarpment and into the surrounding tree canopy.
